SACCADES EXERCISES

These exercises are to improve the ability to move your eyes quickly from target to target with a variety of backgrounds — progressing from a blue background to picture background then to a moving background. The exercises have an additional challenge by asking the individual to recognize a number that also appears within the target.

SMOOTH PURSUIT EXERCISES

These exercises are to improve the ability to track targets with a variety of backgrounds — progressing from a blue background to picture background then to a moving background. Some of the exercises will require “dual tasking” — tracking a primary target while also pointing finger at other targets that move around a main target. And, with some exercises the individual may be asked to say aloud the color that randomly appears with the moving object.

VESTIBULAR OCULAR REFLEX (VOR)

These exercises are to improve how the eyes and head work together in an effort to minimize (and hopefully alleviate) symptoms of movement-related dizziness, unsteadiness and/or blurriness. The individual will move their head side to side to side at the same speed of the beeps. Remember, these head movements are small (no more than 30 degrees in each direction).
