Originally from the Coast of Victoria, Australia. Rebecca attended the University of Ballarat and attained her Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement- Exercise Science).
Exploring her love of sports she went on to work as a Personal Trainer, Sports Scientist at Winter Park Resort Colorado, a Strength and Conditioning Specialist in California, as well as a Strength and Conditioning Consultant to the Geelong Football Club, a premier AFL team in Australia.
Rebecca has a Master of Physiotherapy from Curtin University in Western Australia. Since graduating in 2005 she has undertaken further specialised training in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS), Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Spinal mobilisation and manipulation, Sports Physiotherapy (AUS), Acupuncture (CAFCI), Dry Needling, STOTT Pilates, Real Time Ultrasound, and is currently working towards her Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. She has also recently completed further advanced training in the Integrated Systems Model with LJ Lee & Diane Lee, a model which analyzes the way the whole body functions to find drivers for injuries.
Rebecca also specialises in Pilates for sports and injury rehabilitation and is certified through Dance Medicine Australia and STOTT Pilates.
Since 2009 Rebecca has been helping locals and visitors to Whistler keep enjoying what they love doing most! In her “spare” time, Rebecca loves exploring everything Whistler has to offer from snowboarding, hiking, trail running, mountain biking, to swimming, surfing and kayaking. She loves anything outdoors and grew up competing at a National level for Swimming and Surf Lifesaving.
