Originally from Peterborough, Ontario, Meghan grew up competing in Biathlon at a National level.
After a few times out west Meghan realized that “visiting” just wasn’t satisfying enough so she made the move to BC and has never looked back.
Meghan has a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia and has since continued to pursue post-graduate training in spinal mobilization and manipulation; Mulligan techniques; and custom bracing, splinting and orthotics.
While attending Queen’s University for her Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education and BA in Biology and working with the Queen’s University Women’s Hockey team, Meghan became inspired to pursue her Sport Certificate.
Her clinical interests include sports physiotherapy and injury prevention education, post-surgical rehabilitation, work related injuries, and women’s health issues.
Her treatment approach incorporates manual therapy, exercise prescription and client education to help address both the current injury and to identify predisposing factors, while empowering clients and helping facilitate each client’s individualized return to function.
When not putting people back together, Meghan can be found outdoors as she continues to explore the beauty of BC on foot, skis and bike.
