Meghan is originally from Ontario where she grew up competing nationally in biathlon and submersing herself in the outdoors. She made the move to British Columbia after recognizing that visiting the mountains just wasn’t enough.
Meghan graduated with her Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia in 2009 and has since continued to pursue post-graduate training in spinal mobilization and manipulation; cranio-sacral techniques; and rehabilitative ultrasound. She has also completed her certifications in Anatomical Acupuncture and Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS).
Meghan began her practice in Vancouver but soon found herself drawn to the mountains in Whistler, BC where she continues to balance work with play. Her treatment approach incorporates manual therapy, exercise prescription and client education to help address both the current injury and to identify predisposing factors, while empowering clients and helping facilitate each client’s individualized return to function. Meghan spends her free time outdoors as she continues to explore the beauty of BC on foot, skis and bike.
