Lydia Harrop Peak Performance Physiotherapy Whistler Physiotherapist

Lydia is a physiotherapist with a background in both neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Since graduating in 2016 in the UK, she has built a strong clinical foundation through diverse rotations in post-operative orthopaedics, neurology, and ultimately chose to specialise in stroke rehabilitation. Her early focus on neurorehabilitation has given her advanced insight into movement disorders, motor control, and functional recovery — all of which continue to inform her MSK practice.

With additional experience working several seasons for local and county championship rugby teams, and competing herself at the national level in netball, Lydia brings valuable insight into sports-related injuries and performance through individualised injury prevention programs. She has a particular interest in biomechanics and movement, aiming not just to treat injuries but also to uncover their root causes and prevent recurrence. She later transitioned into a high-volume musculoskeletal clinic, delivering patient-centred care to help individuals achieve long-term recovery.

Through her work as a ski patroller, Lydia has gained hands-on experience managing a wide range of skiing and snowboarding injuries and their unique mechanisms. When she is not in the clinic, she is hiking, biking, and skiing around BC.

Lydia’s diverse experience allows her to provide evidence-based care for a wide range of conditions — helping people move better, recover stronger, and live more actively.
